We are very proud to feature the knives produced by the Fogarizzu's from Pattada in Sardinia. They have a centenary tradition in knife making, with the "resolza" type, the traditional shepherds knife that is now becoming a symbol of the tradition and beauty of the Italian island, then with the traditional and modern Italian style and artistic production. The authors are masters with the various knives' materials and with their family background in steel forging and hardening they also have a tradition in producing the damascus steel for their knives blades, bolsters, handles or any other knife part.

Don't wonder that these knifes have won international consideration in Europe, Japan and the States. Amongst other magazines and newspapers the knives authors won recognition from "The New York Times" 26 July 1998 ("Getting to the Heart of Sardinia"), all thanks their skills in knife making.

All knives come with an original certificate signed by the author. Each knife is a unique handmade piece although the more traditional types are not numbered to recognize that the "idea" pertain to the tradition.
