Tore is
one of our preferred folding knives, it is a working piece
of art with an exceptional lock mechanism which could be a
watchmaker workmanship. The blade first put some resistance
to the opening, yet it is comfortable and easy to open, then
after a certain opening angle the spring calls the blade
into opened position and it is then locked open. Unlocking
the blade is easy and require to push the smooth button on
the back of the knife, the blade can then be folded and it
is called swiftly into closed position by the spring near
the end of its rotation. This is also the preferred knife
from the author Tore, this item is the No 20 already, and
for every unique handmade knife of this type experience
brings perfection over perfection.
The
knife shown here is a new knife, you can see more about the author
in the previous page. This knife is the result of a long tradition and
experience, it is
the No 020 knife of its type but it is different
from any of the remaining nineteen produced before by the
author, this is a completely hand made knife with all
variations of shape and materials that are worked out time
after time by the author. The amazing characteristic of this
knife is in the preparation of the steel liners edges, they
are file worked to obtain a smooth long pitch thread shape,
one running clockwise and one the opposite, this is not just
a straight file work and although being very difficult it
has been done very well. Also this knife comes with an original
certificate signed by the author. Back
